Habitat Leopard Geckos are the easiest
geckos to care for. A standard 10 gallon vivarium
will be adequate for a single leopard gecko; A standard
20 gallon vivarium for a pair or a trio. It is essential
to provide this species with some form of shelter. Food
Leopard Geckos can live happily on a diet of crickets
and mealworms. Dust the insects with calcium supplements
daily for juveniles (less than 6 inches) and every
other day dustings for adults. Water
They need only a small dish of fresh water each
day. You can spray a light mist of water in an area
of the terrarium near the gecko’s hide box
every few days to help your Leopard Gecko shed its
skin. Lighting
Day: 30ºC
Night: 24ºC
As Leopard Geckos is nocturnal, UV lighting is not
necessary. Make sure that there are cool areas in
the terrarium, so your lizard can regulate its body
temperature, as well as hiding places where it can
sleep.
